The Millennium Concept
A century only derives its identity as a result of the millennium concept. What is the millennium concept? It is the understanding that, time is broken down into decades and centuries which subsequently make up a period of a thousand years called a millennium. You may ask the question, what has the millennium concept got to do with the 100 years global leadership conference project? Just every thing! Time is the most taken for granted thing in most part of the world, especially in Africa.

-The lost of time: This is a situation where we count time but fail to make time count
-We fail to match our results with the demands of time.
-We stay behind time in terms of expectations
Each time has its related demands in all areas of strategic importance; mankind is supposed to develop progressively in relation to time. Thus, as time goes so does humanity. When this is not the case, a state of underdevelopment is inevitable. What is underdevelopment in this context? It is simply the failure to match results with the demand of the time. When results are unrelated to what is expected in a particular time, it implies, a state of underdevelopment has set in.
Development in the 20th century is not development in the 21st century because both centuries have their peculiarities and demands. Thus, development is only development if it marches hand to hand or neck to neck with time. This is the revolution the 100 years global leadership conference project is set on realizing. Every first decade of a century is a leadership decade and it’s supposed to set the pace for the rest of the century, while every first century of a millennium is the leadership century. The breakthroughs of each leadership century determine both life and the affairs of humanity in the future of each millennium. The failure of humanity in each first century of a millennium to make the right discoveries and to establish the paths for operations in the future will have terrible consequences, as mankind will step into the future as blind horses without direction and wisdom to cope with future opportunities, challenges and responsibilities.
LEADERSHIP GENERATION
A leadership generation is the generation which begins every new millennium. Each leadership generation is supposed to be a visionary generation. They are to be path finders, road makers, ground breakers and pace setters for those in the future. Thus, so much responsibility is levied on each leadership generation. The worse will inevitably occur if a leadership generation lives in ignorance of their destiny and thus, substitute purpose for pleasure, risk for rest and rights for wrongs.
Most of the unprecedented calamities humanity faced in the pass centuries and millenniums were as a result of the failure of their leadership generations. Will this generation be counted as a failure or a success; this will depend on what we brace ourselves to do in this last ninety years of the 21st century.
